This is a hair post. It isn't a tutorial, because I haven't taken pictures of the process of actually doing it, lol, but I probably could do that if any of you wanted me to. It's just basically an "I'm excited because I've found a new way to wear my hair when it looks to dirty/greasy to wear down", haha, and I love the way it looks so much! It's also good for when my hair just won't co-operate because it's meant to look messy.
As intricate as this hairstyle looks, it's actually super easy to do. All you need is a hair tie, lots of bobby pins, and optionally, and headband/bow/whatever accessories you'd like.
All you need to do is put all your hair up into a high bun, and then pin a bunch of pieces down with bobby pins to create a more messy look. You can pull as much out as you'd like, or pin as much as you'd like, to make it look as neat or messy as you want! Then, personally, I like to add a headband with a big bow (this leopard print one is my favourite) and pull some wisps of hair out around my ears to make it a little bit less neat.
This hairstyle can actually be super versatile, which is another thing that's really great about it. You can make your bun as high or low as you'd like, as messy or neat as you'd like, and change up the look quite a bit by using a variety of accessories, or none at all. This hairstyle has been a lifesaver for me this summer!
Also, just a note - I DON'T have grey hair, lol. I used baby powder the day I took these pictures and clearly didn't blend it into my roots very well. :P
